The rules for Chad's Fantasy Racing are simple.

Basic Rules

  • You pick 4 NASCAR drivers for your team and you get the same amount of points they get in the race
  • You can only have 1 driver that made the chase last year on your team
  • After the chase starts this year your team will be reset to no drivers. You repick your team with only have 1 driver that made the chase
  • It's that simple!

    • LEAGUES

  • User teams are assigned to a league automatically to start with.
  • There must be a minimum of 25 teams in a league.
  • After you log in for the first time you may switch to a different league if there will be more than 25 teams in the league you are leaving, and no more than 45 teams in the league you want to join. Go to the My Acct page to do this.
  • The site administrator reserves the right to move teams to balance out the number of teams in each league.
  • No team can move to a different league after the second race of the season.

    • TEAMS

  • You must have 4 drivers on your team. If you don't have 4 drivers you will automatically get 0 points for the week.
  • You cannot have the same guy on your team in more than one roster spot. Jimmie Johnson can't be all 4 drivers on your team.
  • You can only have 1 driver on your team that made the chase last year.
  • If you do not have a legal roster, you'll get 0 points for the week.
  • If NASCAR deducts points from a driver, each person that owns that driver will NOT be deducted any points.

    • POINTS

  • Each driver will score points for you based on the NASCAR scoring system. However many points the driver gets in the race is how many points he will score for you.

    • TRADES

  • You will get unlimited trades for the first week, and 2 new trades each week after.
  • If you do not use all of your trades in one week, they will roll over to the next week.
  • The official cutoff time for trades will be posted each week on your Pick Drivers page.
  • The time displayed for the race starting and trade cutoff is Central time (Chicago).
  • Once you drop a driver, that beings a new trade. Adding a driver completes that trade.

    • CHASE FOR THE CUP

  • Since the Sprint Cup has one, we will too, and it will work similar to NASCAR's
  • Everyone in the top twleve of each league will make the chase.
  • Everyone in the chase will get 8,000 points, and each win a team has will earn them 10 bonus points.
  • You will only be able to have 1 driver from the Chase for the Cup on your team.
  • Your team will be reset to 0 drivers to start the chase and you will repick your team.
  • If you do not have a legal roster, you will get 0 points for the week.

    • LEAGUE WINNER

  • The league winner will be the person/team with the most points at the end of the season in their league.

    • OVERALL 1st, 2nd, & 3rd

  • The Overall Champion will be the person/team with the most points at the end of the season among all users in all leagues.
  • The Overall Champion, 2nd, & 3rd place person/team will be paid a bonus payout specified on the Payouts page.

    • TIE BREAKER - If two teams have the same number of points at the end of the season, then the tie breakers will go as follows:

  • Team with the most wins
  • Team with the most top 5 finishes
  • Team with the most top 10 finishes
  • Team with the most weekly high point awards

    • PAYOUTS

  • All winnings on this site will be paid out after the NASCAR season is over.
  • Payouts under $50 will be given as site credit to the next season, unless specified otherwise.
  • All other payouts will be distributed via PayPal.
